GEMÜ acquires land for new manufacturing plant |

| GEMÜ requires more space - and finds an appropriate solution close to its current location. From 2009, GEMÜ will run a second state of the art plastic processing plant in Emmen, next to the city of Lucerne. After overall completion, roughly 100 additional employers will contribute to the success of GEMÜ Switzerland. These resources are urgently needed to satisfy the demand for plastic parts made by GEMÜ. Especially the clean-room infrastructure, which is needed to manufacture plastic valves for the semiconductor industry and products for the medical division, has a strong need for expansion.
