The "GIT InnovationAward" is a award presented by the publication "GIT Laboratory Journal" during the Analytica trade show in Munich. It is meant to highlight some innovative new products in the area of analytics, lab technology and biotechnology and to raise interest of companies, researchers and users. Everybody was invited to vote for the most innovative products in each of the three categories "Analytical instruments and software", "Biotechnology and LifeSciences" and "Laboratory needs".  

We are very proud to announce that FlipTube® and its innovative opening mechanism won the first prize in the category "Laboratory needs".
